Perm gas turbines, operating on strategic objects of Russia

OJSC "Perm Engine Co." has a complete order portfolio for the production of gas turbines for OJSC "Gasprom" in 2010.

Next year OJSC "Perm Engine Co." is going to make 11 GTU-16P and GTU-25P gas turbine packages for OJSC "Gasprom". Each of these gas turbines is required for the equipment of compressor stations (CS) of two perspective and strategically important gas pipelines - "Nord Stream" (CS "Gryazovets" - CS "Portovaya") and "Bovanenkovo- Ukhta".

Within the framework of the project on building the main gas pipeline "Nord Stream", OJSC "Perm Engine Co." has signed up several contracts for the production of 6 GTU-16P gas turbine packages for CS "Sheksninskaya" and 5 GTU-16P gas turbine packages for CS "Pikalevskaya". It is worth mentioning that out of 7 compressor stations of the land-based part of "Nord Stream"gas pipeline, 4 stations will be equipped with gas turbines, produced by OJSC "Perm Engine Co.".

Another strategically important project, where OJSC "Gasprom" is going to implement Perm gas turbines, is the main gas pipeline "Bovanenkovo- Ukhta".  Under this project, Perm motor builders have made up the contract for the production of 6 GTU-25P gas turbine packages for compressor station "Yarynskaya". Moreover some other contracts are currently being under discussion for the production and delivery in 2011 of 6 GTU-25P gas turbine packages for CS "Gagaratskaya" and 6 GTU-25P gas turbine packages for CS "Usinskaya".

Nowadays in connection with the realization of some big projects, OJSC "Gasprom" has a big demand for gas turbines. It is very important for us that OJSC "Perm Engine Co." has been for many years one of the main suppliers of this equipment, delivered to OJSC "Gasprom" compressor stations.  According to the experts the demand for gas turbines rated at 25 MW is going to increase in the nearest several years. Therefore OJSC "Perm Engine Co." seeks to prove its products to be reliable, qualitative and competitive.
