OJSC Aviadvigatel will provide Perm oilmen with stand-alone efficient power generation
In June 2010 OJSC Aviadvigatel and OJSC Globalstroy-Engineering have signed a contract for delivery of gas turbine power plant rated at 4 MV for associated gas utilization at LLC UralOil TsNGSP Gezh.
LLC UralOil specialists in collaboration with Gezh GTES gas turbine power plant general designer LLC PermNIPIneft has performed an analysis of the current world market of gas turbines and reciprocating power equipment. The most important engineering-and-economical performance of the power plants such as gas turbine efficiency, reliability index, unit price, maintenance expenditures and others were taken into consideration. Having appreciated the production of such companies as OJSC Motor Sich, OPRA, Caterpillar, Waukesha, the customer decided on OJSC Aviadvigatel. The significant role in making this decision played a minimal time of equipment delivery and Perm Design Bureau readiness for collaborative design of the facility and adoption of the new engineering solutions.
"Not the least of the factors is that in comparison with foreign and domestic analogs, along with engineering-and-economical performance of "Ural" family power plants, they have a substantial advantage: quality-price ratio", emphasized Deputy General Designer - Chief Designer of mechanical drive gas turbines for power plants and objects of their application OJSC Aviadvigatel Daniil Sulimov.
General designer of the project is LLC PermNIPIneft. General contractor - OJSC Globalstroy Engineering. Development, manufacture, gas turbine power plant (GTES) delivery, erection supervision work and commissioning - OJSC Aviadvigatel. Power plant units traditionally will be manufactured in cooperation with the longstanding partners of Perm Design Bureau - OJSC Perm Engine Company, OJSC Privod, OJSC Proton-PM, CJSC NPF Systema-Service, LLC Sputnik-Energetica. For the first time it is supposed that Moscow LLC Energaz company will take part in the project and will act as a supplier of Swiss-made booster compressor package.
"Ural-4000" gas turbine power plant will provide utilization of 7.5 millions m3 of associated gas with high content of hydrogen sulphide per year at TsNGSP Gezh and will year-round generate electricity for the needs of Gezh oilfield that is situated at Krasnovishersky district of Perm region. As a booster compressor package for "Ural" family gas turbine station Enerproject SA Swiss company's equipment will be used.

Currently power plants based on GTU-4P gas turbines successfully operate in its own energy-generation facilities of OJSC Gazprom and OJSC Surgutneftegaz, LUKOIL-Zapadnaya Sibir and RN-Yuganskneftegaz, OJSC Silvinit and CJSC Sibur-Khimprom, OJSC Bashkirenergo and Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. and others. Since 1999 more than 30 GTU-4P gas turbines for the needs of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex enterprises were manufactured in Perm. At the beginning of June 2010 they were totally rated at 128 MW and the accumulated operating time exceeded one million hours.
